My name is John Robinson and I am a professional geologist (PG) and environmental consultant specializing in groundwater.  I started my career in petroleum exploration and natural gas transportation in 1979 coinciding with the outsourcing of the domestic oil industry and consequently the outsourcing of my first job.  I have been researching alternative energy sources since the oil crisis and gas lines of 1973, three months after receiving my drivers license.  I am not a licensed trader, but have been actively involved in the on-line trading of my own portfolio for over a decade.  As a buy and hold strategist, my most successful trading has been in environmental stocks, which is why I am publishing this newsletter.  My personal positions (and historic perspectives on several of the featured stocks) are disclosed in the My Greener Investing Newsletter.
